Clearyl Water Filters are only for use with the Jura Capresso Z5, Z6, S9 Avantgarde, S7 Avantgarde, E9, E8, and F7. The Clearyl system will reduce water hardness up to 75%, as well as removing large percentages of chlorine, lead, copper, and aluminum from your water if they are present.

We needed a replacement for our coffee maker and Williams Sonoma was no longer carrying it, so we went on line located it and the price was right, and we received it in a timely manner, will purchase from this company the next time we need a replacement.
So far all my purchases from Amazon and its associates have been great. I couldn't find this product anywhere in town and I love my Jura Capresso coffee machine, so I looked in Amazon and of course, it was there.
As far as I know this is the only water filter I can use for the Jura Capresso machine. It does what it's supposed to do because if it's not used (or has expired) the coffee will taste bad.
This water filter is used in my Capresso Z6 super automatic. It is the same one I used to buy for twice the price at William Sonoma or directly from Capresso.
This is an non-optional water filter from Jura for many of itscoffee makers.
